Age of Man exhibition with "Form and Seek"
In Salone Del Mobile this year, I will present my project "Artificial Regality" with "Form and Seek" in our exhibition "Age of Man".
As human beings gradually learned to manipulate nature and manufacture pigments through artificial means, the age-old status of certain colors such as turquoise and purple has been lost. My project explores the interaction between human impact and natural occurrence. The result could be described as contemporary archaeological artefacts – playfully combining the cheap with the luxurious and using new contexts and opportunities to restore ancient notions.
